Journalling Ideas: What are 3 new hobbies you would like to enjoy?

Image from Pinterest

1. Swimming.

I all for it. Since the gyms have reopened, i'm considering getting on sports direct and ordering myself a waterproof swim hat and some swimming shoes. It's getting serious :O I love the idea of swimming as exercise. To me, it's so different to what i normally do working out and feels fun and before you know it your out of breath and you have ACTUALLY exercised.

The only thing that has put me off in the past is these 3 things:

- i'm not a strong swimmer. The only way i can get better is to get going!

- All the faff of getting ready in a squished cubicle with wet hair. Hence the waterproof cap idea. I know i might look like i have all the gear and no idea but if it saves me having to wash my hair and damage it with the chlorine then on that hat goes.

- Winter = cold. Coming out of the baths with wet hair, a damp body because i'm usually in a rush to get home and showered at this point and freezing! This coming winter i have a super thick coat so that will conquer the cold and my swim hat yet again is just becoming more and more a good idea!

2. Knitting.

My mother and auntie in law are huge knitters and they are always inspiring me to have a go at it. They have given me needles, wool and motivation but i always start. stop. start. stop. I've got some amazing dark grey wool in my wardrobe that i would love to make a chunky scarf for the autumn winter. I love that i could produce something to wear with my own 2 hands and what are practically chop sticks.

3. Ariel and Pole Dancing

I want to act like i'm in a circus show and twissle around some ribbon. I would imagine it would need some core strength and i could only imagine what strength you would build too!

Pole dancing is always something i've loved the look of. I've heard it's AMAZING exercise and again, with it including dancing and technique, i'd be concentrating so much on that, not noticing session by session my 6 pack is forming!

Journalling Ideas: What are 3 things you are grateful for today?

1. The view.

As i sit here typing these words, i can turn to my left and see trees.
Louis Armstrongs - Trees of green will no doubt be stuck in my head for the foreseeable day, but instead of red roses, i can see a peep of lavender hydrangeas.

I've been trying to google the correct same of the hugeee trees I can see beside me but instead of finding the exact word, i'm going to describe it as a MASSIVE Christmas tree...
You can see where the past few days of sunshine has scorched some of the ever green leaves but to me, it adds more depth, more of an autumnal look which i love.

2. My new favourite app... Alarmy.

One of my favourite videos to watch on youtube is morning routines. Especially if i feel in a slump with my own, i find watching these types of videos give me inspiration. One of the videos i watched a gorgeous lady Lyn Allure, shared she has used this app for years and has been the main help to get her up early.

It's a free app, you can set your alarm just like normal but you can choose to do certain tasks before you can stop it. I opt out of the snooze option and have swapped it for a memory game, maths solutions or to even take a picture of a barcode from a recipe book in my kitchen. Before i know it, my mind has been given a task to forget about snoozing the alarm and so far it's really helping me to wake up early to seize my day. This morning for example, i was awake and out of bed for 7:30 which is VERY unusual for me.

3. I get to see my mom today.

YAY! I try and see my mom at least once a week. I hop on the bus for about a 20 minute journey and we spend the day together. The past few weeks we have been organising her garage thats filled with YEARS worth of our family stuff. The Marie Kondo in me has loved it!

Today, i'm going to do a little more organising with her but mainly help her put the last piece of wallpaper up in her living room to make it complete.

I wasn't able to visit during lockdown for reasons we all know why. But now, i had no doubt who was going to be the first person in my bubble. My beautiful mommy bear. She is my best friend and to not be able to physically see her for months, like so many others was so so hard. But now, i am so grateful she is a bus journey away and we can spend a lovely day together.

Journalling Ideas: What do you love most about your life?

image from Pinterest

The people who are in it.

I could have been born into another family, at a different time, in another country opposites sides of the world from where i am now. In another century... and yet here i am. Here i am in 2020 with my family that consist of a number of uncles, aunties, cousins, 2nd cousins, great aunties, my mom, a husband, brothers, sisters in laws, nieces, nephews, not forgetting all the furry animals in my life and each one of them is someone who i love. Friends who you may as well include as family, friend of friends, friends of family members who we see once a year at Christmas gatherings. All of these people i have a connection with.

I was thinking the other day of different kinds of love you have for people. Friends for example. You meet them sometimes super randomly, sometimes through other friends you have and you build a connection, a friendship from scratch. You make that connection of love from the relationship you have. I was looking at that difference to those of family members. Do you just love them or SAY you love them because they are related? Because they have came into your life through someone else you know? Are you expected to just love them let alone LIKE them?

For me, personally. I feel like the love i have for my family members is a natural instinct. For blood relatives alone, i feel an instant connection with them. We share the same cells & DNA so how could I not feel an instant connection with them. Do i just love my brothers because they are my brothers? No. Similar to friends, i have obviously grew up with them and learnt things about them that have made me fall in love with them, but at the same time, if i had spent zero time with them over the years, i believe i still would have this undeniable love for them. A solid connection that we are related, we are bonded for life.

I have just also realised whilst re-reading this back, that one of the many reasons of this natural instinct is because we can see a lot of ourselves in them. I can see physical and emotional traits like that of myself. My eldest brother nick. The way he presents himself and the things he says mirrors so much to me. Simon, his humour and emotions are so a-like with mine it's crazy.
They might see this differently when they look at me and each other. But that's my perception. That's one of the reasons i have based my love for them. You feel instantly connected and attached to someone who is like to yourself. You know you will get on with them a lot easier than someone whose completely opposite... more than likely.
You spend 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with yourself, your soul and mind. Someone who shows even a slightest little similarity to you, it's a little spark that pings from your heart saying, your a little like me. Your my squishy :') (Any Finding Nemo lovers, high 5)
That connection has been made.

I cannot believe when i look at my life. How many collections i have in my friendship and family real life album. When i think about each and everyone of them and why and how we have this bond, it astounds me.

My life has been capable of finding these people, naturally or randomly. That's what i love the most. That's what truly makes me happy.

P.s I cannot forget how to mention one of the most loved drinks in my life for currently 26 and a half years... a hot cup of tea. x

June Favourites 2020

Let's not remind ourselves how many months it has been since i last popped up a blog post. *Elephant in the room shouts.... SINCE OCTOBER*
Yep, October. My October favourites. I've just counted how many months that's been... has it really been 8?!?! 8 months? gosh. wow. Let's get straight into what i have been loving in June and get right back into this!

1. Pushing through trying times.

I don't think i have updated you since, but as of December last year, i started an actual job. After being practically unemployed for 2 years before, with the odd job here and there, i was now in the working world. Not only gaining a new job but also realising the terror of anxiety that came along with it.

Having OCD, i'm no stranger to some heart flutters and panic but boy oh boy. I had never in my LIFE experienced agonising mental health than that i did last December. That story i'll share at a different time. But i wanted to mention this because after working 6 months and being so strong, the start of June brought all of Decembers feeling back again.

Why on earth would this be a favourite? Well going through this again, albeit not AS bad as the start of job, but hard enough to make me think i could not do it anymore, i realised that I can. That's what my favourite has been. Knowing that i can work through it, i can go past it. Not let anxiety rule over me & make me leave ANOTHER job, make me feel in-superior, worthless, give me agonising tremors. I have come out of that, feeling stronger than ever with the help of self help books and mainly my husband, who reminds me of everything that we learned from the start of the year to get through this.

I am so beyond proud of myself, that i've got through another hard time in my life and it's given me so much hope, knowing i've got another notch (experience) on my belt to look back and learn from if/when my anxiety flares up again.

2. Fresh Flowers.

Walking into Aldi with my reusable bags in the crook of my arm, i first of all see the abundance of flowers there before me. I love to see whats in season and with a quick search on google to make sure my desired blooms aren't toxic to my little cat, a fresh bouquet of flowers are the first gently placed item in the trolley.

My favourites so far have been the beauuuuutiful fluffy stocks that came in a blackcurrant shade and the bright summer sunflowers that sat proudly on my kitchen windowsill for all public passer-byers eyes to catch, and hopefully make their day a little brighter.

3. 2020 Diary

Unlike me, i went through a few weeks where i wasn't using my diary as much. I usually LOVE to open my diary, grab some pastel highlighters and get filling up my days with the neatest writing i can create, showing me at the end of the week, i have been somewhat productive.

In June i quickly snapped back into the writing and highlighting mode. Drawing little boxes next to my medication chart ready to tick, starting the long list of jobs i'd like to get done that week, admittedly moving some over from the previous week that i did not complete. Planning out that weeks youtube videos, completing a brief description of that nights meal for future reference.... When i am active with my diary, i feel a piece of me is complete. I have something to be accountable for, even if it is just ticking a box complete.

Want to see more?
There's a video on my youtube channel ready to view. I included different favourites for your ears and eyes to discover. Why don't you grab a cup of tea and start to watch...?

Thank you for sharing your time with me today to see what June as brought along for me to become a fan of.

See you soon,

Love, Emilie x

October Favourites

Oh my hat, it's been a hot minute since i last uploaded a monthly favourites post and boy have i missed them.
I won't bore you with the ins and outs on why i have missed the past oooft has it been 3 months? So lets swiftly move on to what i have been loving lately...

1. Z Nation

Zombies. Comedy. Thrill. Loveable characters. Gripping Storyline it has it all.
The first episode in, we knew we was in for a treat. If your a fan of Zombie films/series then i think your going to LOVE Z Nation. Each episode has a different story whilst sticking on track with the main plot. The characters just make the WHOLE show. Can Doc please be my real life friend please? And the zombie side of things isn't too scary. It has a lil bit of thrill with some tongue in cheek comedy.

2. Autumn

Ohhhh my second favourite season has been upon us and showering down it's maple coloured leaves on us. 1st of October I sprinted to our radiator turning on system thingy-me-bob and turned that shizz right on! We ploughed through September, pushing the thought of the heating being turned on until October and you can bet your bottom dollar as soon as I flipped my calendar over to the 1st the heating bill risen.

3. Weekly Vlogging

Yep, thats right. It's me, filming my week. Albeit it may be boring, it may be repetitive but hey ho, we have a laugh and make plenty cups of teas and declutter my stuff quite a lot and chit chats in between.
I have been LOVING filming my days to have a natter with you guys and after having a week from not filming titbits of my week I have really missed it! Can't wait to get sharing my bed head and groggy morning voice again.
(I'm really selling this to you aren't i?!)

Here's some I made for the past few weeks if you fancy a ponder....

4. Family Time

Richard has had over a week off from work and it has been wonderful having him home. Even just hearing him in the other room chatting to his playstation buddies or cursing at the game for being silly is just so nice to have him there. My little cat Cloud has adored snuggling up next to him and occasionally sauntered in to see what i'm up too.

We didn't really get up to anything different, we have just got over the longest bloody lingering cold known to man so we just chilled for most of the week with an exciting outing to Aldi & a pit stop at  a bakery to pick up some naughty cakes whilst watching my next fave...

5. The Great British Bake Off.

Ohhhhh my year isn't complete without rushing to the tv at 8pm every Tuesday with a freshly made cuppa and a snack in the other to watch the bake off. Whenever i hear the into music... da dun dun dun, da dun dun dun, you know how it goes, i just instantly feel happy and content with life right there.
Richard even watched every episode with me this year which is un heard of and just added to the family cosy times each week.
It's all ended now though boohoo, but so happy with the final 3 <3

Thank you so much for joining me today for a wee little catch up on the things i have been loving lately. I hope you are doing fab and can't wait to chat soon!

Love, Emilie xx

2019 New Years Resolutions - 6 month Recap

How is it half way (or just over in fact) through the year?!?!

A seems like yesterday that i was compiling a list of goals i wanted to achieve for the year ahead with 12 fresh long month to achieve and woooooosh, it's 6 and a half months down & i think it's time for a recap to see how i am doing with achieving these resolutions.

In all honestly before i start, i honestly thought i was would be working 9-5 Monday-Friday, so a lot of these goals were set to work alongside this expectation, i thought i would have more structure (& a lot more money) but hey ho, life is so unexpected and let's see how my life has worked out differently from what i originally thought...

I'll leave the link here to my original 2019 Resolutions, Goals & Dreams incase you fancy a quick skim through to see what i have been working with here.

'' 1. Devise and maintain a structured morning and evening routine.''
Hmmm, yeah not so much.
With not have the structure of a full time job, the idea of a set out routine morning and night just hasn't taken place. I still would like to incorporate set things into my morning and evening routine that don't need me to be working in order to have them, so this is something i can definitely work towards in the last of of this year fo sho!

2. Time Save.
No job = more time.
So i haven't particularly needed to ''save time''. But, i have found myself batch cooking a few different meals to make sure i have a guaranteed meal if i have a busier week than usual. If i know i'm going to be out and about, rather than grabbing a quick sausage roll from Gregg's, i'll take my microwave lunch box with some pre-made chilli, bish bash bosh, i'm fed = time and money saved.

As regards to laser hair removal to save time in the beauty department, this has been a fail. The treatments are pricey and my bank is tiny so no laser hair removal trips for me yet.

3. Spend more time with friends and family.
To a certain degree, we have been making a bit more of an effort to go and see our loved ones but no has much as i really want. This is the most important goal for me to complete for the rest of 2019. Lilo and Stitch would be furious at me right now for not spending more time with my family, but stitch! That's gonna change!

4. Maintain gym and eating plan.
Finally something i can say is a full success!!!
I have stuck to my healthy eating and fitness plan every. single. week.
This isn't something that will change. It's a major part of who i am now and is my lifestyle rather than a dream.

5. Gain a presentable and organised style/wardrobe.
Although not yet complete, i do believe i have been able to achieve some style staples within my wardrobe that I'm chuffed with and along with feeling more positive in my body, i am able to wear things i may have neglected in the past and given them a new lease of life into my wardrobe, which is always nice to do.

6. Take more care of skin and hair.
My hair has had the pleasure of being cut my yours truly, so maybe it hasn't be treated by a professional for a while, but still, it's had a regular trim every now and again to keep it looking fresh.
My skin routine has been a little up and down, sometimes i do forget to slap on some night cream but for the most part, i always apply spf, LOVEEE taking my makeup off and thoroughly enjoy lathering my under eyes up with eye cream to prevent dark circles, yay me.

7. Make a house a home.
Yeahhhhh.... no this hasn't really happened. With no job sort of means no splurging on new home decor in Dunelm mill unfortunately, BUT!! We do have a new addition in our home which i have desired since moving in... a dining room table!! Can i getta woop woop?!

8. Hit 1k on youtube.
It's not happened yet but i am soooooo very close! Today's current number is 723, so i'm nearly there but do you know what, even if i don't move a single number up, i'd be happy with this amount by the end of the year, my youtube is my little happy bubble land.

9. Organise regularly.
I've gotten to a point of not being able to organise much more would you believe. It has felt so refreshing know that i have been keeping things like the junk drawers and letters organised throughout the year, it helps keep everything under control.

10. Get a provisional license and take some driving lessons.
Nope, nope AND A BIG FAT NOPE.
Me gots no monies to be spendin on driving lessons, i got a lil cat to feed!

....

So, looking back at my goals for 2019 so far, i wouldn't say i've done THAT well. I'm a little bit disappointed but i'm going to turn that frown upside down and BE POSITIVE.

I have 5 months and 2 weeks to get back into shape with my goals and dreams and reach further and further to achieve them, gooooo Emilie!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post today, i do hope you enjoyed and I look forward to chatting soon,

Lots of love,
Emilie xx

June Favourites

Oh didn't June go quick!!
Blimey were now in the 7 month of the year! Get your Christmas lists ready kids!

Lets have a wee little ponder at what has taken my fancy throughout this blast of a month.

1. Love

It was my husband and I's 10 year 'together anniversary'. 10 years of being life partners, soulmates, boyfriend and girlfriend, i love you buddies, prince and princess just to name a few descriptions.

We didn't have a fancy smansy meal, but what we did do is celebrate with one of our favourite passed times of having a home cooked meal and snuggle on the sofa whilst binging on a series on Netflix.

2. Jessica Jones.

My husband had to twist my arm to get me into watching the marvel series on Netflix, starting with the Jessica jones series. After so many marvel series binged, I have to say I'M HOOKED to them!
The latest series to appear to our screens was the 3rd series of Jessica Jones and ooft it was a gooden'.

It had action, power, tears and more action, my bum was tightly clenched to my seat most episodes.

3. Podcasts.

Instead of music in June, my ears opted for something a little different in the form of podcasts.
The series i have been listening to is from a gorgeous and oh so inspirational lady called Jenna Kutcher. Jenna has a podcast called GOAL DIGGER, offering so many tips, tricks for your business and life in general. Her voice is soothing, motivating and inspiring to listen too.

I also feel a little bit more productive when i'm commuting as i know my brain is learning little by little and not off into a dream land listening to Mariah Carey envisioning myself driving with the roof down instead of on a bus.

There we have a few lil tit bits of what i have loved throughout the month of June.

Thank you ever so much for reading and i hope you have a fabulous July, bring on the bbq food ay!

Lots of Love,

Emilie xx

May Favourites

Daaaaaa, da da, daddadadarrrrrr, dadadadarrrrrr, HEY JUNEEE 🎵

Now May has gone, you MAY be wondering what i have been loving, let's take a goosey gander.

(Just a heads up, keep a look out for a muscial intro for each section, i had such fun.)

1. F.R.I.E.N.D.S

🎵I'll be there for yoooooou, cuz your there for me tooooooooo, durdurdurdurdurdurdurdur dowwwwww 🎵

For. MONTHS, i was trying to convince Richard my husband to watch friends with me. Can you even fathom, up until that point he'd never watched a full episode, shooketh.

After agreeing to finally watch something that's been on his watch list for months after saying i would rather watch paint dry, it owed me a chance to watch Friends with him.

WE ARE OBSESSED.

I have never watched every episode & i am disappointed in myself for that.
But one shall not fear, we are speeding through the seasons and finally realising little quotes i often hear people say. ''I don't even have a PLA''

2. Stratford Staycation

🎵Me, me mom, me dad and me gran we went to vindaloo. 🎵
(talk about 90's throwback)

For realsies, me, my mom and nan went on holiday at the beginning of May.
My nan and mom treated me to spend a few days with them in Stratford Upon Avon and it was BLISS.

We spent so much time laughing and shopping & can't wait for our next staycation destination.
We had some lovely food, played board games, made friends with the locals and nearly got eaten whole by the sites residential swan.

3. Online Course

🎵Learn baby learn, disco inLEARNoooooow🎵
I started my online course doing Business & Administration at the beginning of April i believe and have been LOVING it.

So having any qualifications, i was really interested in upping my knowledge on new things.
As i'm looking for a job along the lines of administration, i thought this course shall do me wonders.

It's so easy to follow & you are given ample time to complete the assignments meaning a stress free learning zone. Best of all, it was FREE. I stumbled across a free course page on REED.co.uk and there it was, applied and i was soon sitting at the computer with a notebook and highlighters at the ready.

Thank you for coming along my May round up of things i have been loving. Make sure to check out my previous months loves too you might find something new to love in June 💖

Thank you so much for reading & chat soon my lovely,

Things I loved In April 2019

Were a week into May, which means there's a post for you to have a look at today... it's my April favourites, can i getta woop woop?
*crowd goes willlllllllld*

1. Cherry Blossoms

They are the cinderella trees of Spring. The stroke of 2 weeks after blossoming, the spell will be broken and everything will be as it was before... twigs.

For that short time though that cherry blossoms grace us with their beauty, everything in the world of nature seems that bit more beautiful.

2. Revolution's Banana Powder

I'm not going to give to much away as there will be a blog post up soon all about why i have been loving this powder to absorb all zee oils my face loves to produce. Let's just say it's a lightweight, non cakey, fine milled powder that unfortunately does not smell of bananas.

3. Skinny Whips

HELLO 79P, 99 CALORIE, DOUBLE CHOCOLATE SNACK BARS THAT TASTE LIKE THE CENTRE OF A DOUBLE DECKER FROM DAIRY MILK FROM HOME BARGAINS!!

4. Filming Weekly Vlogs.

Lugging my big camera around for a week of my life, to share with you some moments that i capture.

Thank you for coming along on my April round up of what i have been loving.
Let me know what you have been loving throughout the spring month of April too *insert pink flower emoji here*

What's In My Bag - Spring Edit

Today we shall delve into what sometimes feels like a Mary Poppins bag and where my kitchen sink wouldn't feel out of place.

For all my nic nacs, i like to designate a little bag to keep them all in from being lose in the depths of the main bag itself.

A pen. So i feel organised when someone asks, 'anyone got a pen?'

A mini bottle of deodorant, for those days i work up a sweat running errands.

A snack bar, to keep me energised whilst running said errands.

Tampons, for when mother nature comes a knockin',

Tissues, to wipe away evidence of chocolate from previously shown snack bar & for the occasional blow of the shnoz.

Hand Sanitiser, because sadly, i can't fit the kitchen sink in my bag so i had to downsize instead.

A bobble & clip, for them days my hair just needs to get.out.my.face.

A tote bag, i like to use less plastic and save as many 5ps as poss.

Headphones, for when my heart calls to listen to blast from the pasts.

A bottle of water, for when i'm spitting feathers.

Glasses, for when i get tired of squinting and remember i need to wear glasses.

A hair brush/mirror compact, for when it's a windy day & it's causing problems to my bonnet.

Finally an empty purse. I like to imagine i have money, so i obviously need something to carry it all in.

Thank you for coming along with me to see what i pack into what is often seen on the crook of my arm trophywife.

Thank you so much for reading <3

My Spring Cleaning Plan 2019. Organising, Decluttering and Cleaning

One of many reasons why i love Spring, is Spring Cleaning. Any excuse to have a good old clean and sort out i'm there for.
Today i'm sharing with you 10 of my Spring cleaning plans to complete before the end of April.

1. Clean Oven & Oven Trays.

Preferably, i like to get my hands on the pink stuff but i'm not gonna be spending £10 plus on amazon when poundland do some very similar stuff from the brand Astonish. Its a paste that you can rubadubdub over your own in hopes do get all the cooked in grime off. For the oven racks and trays that are very much well loved, i have a oven cleaning bottle of solution from home bargains that you let the trays and racks sit in for over 6 hours, which means while thats a cleaning away in my kitchen, i can get on with some more spring cleaning.

2. Descale Kettle.

As we have a see through glass kettle, it gives me constant reminders to descale. You would think it would be spotlessly clean, the amount of times i boil it throughout the day for my cups of tea. Home bargains treated me well by selling me a descaling pouch that you drop into your kettle for just £1. It should only take about 10 mins to tick off my list too! Jobs a gooden'.

3. Organise memorabilia boxes.

I love hoarding cinema tickets, plane tickets, little nic naccy things to keep as souvenirs from trips and memories. These boxes are OVER FLOWING and need some attention asap. I'm going to dust the boxes for a start. Then piece by piece organise all my bits into sections and then hopefully come up with a way to organise and sort them to keep everything need and tidy.

4. Declutter Seasonal Box.

Ahh yes, another box of trinkets. I love to decorate my home for seasons all year round ( spring being one of my faves ), which means i have a collection of goodies from autumnal ornaments to summer bunting. Some of the pieces are a little worn and old now and could be doing with going in the bin. After decluttering, i can give everything a good clean and shine to ensure them staying as good as new throughout the seasons to come.

5. Organise and clean protein cupboard.

Also known as the cupboard next to the oven full of goodness knows what! When me and my husband moved into our flat we was showered with wonderful pieces of kitchen wear from friends and family. Nearly being in our apartment for 2 years, most of the stuff that was given and not instantly put to use has been sitting in this cupboard, from extra bowls to teapots. I think i'm going to have a good old tidy up in there and give some items to a better home. Oh the protein in the protein cupboard yes, i shall be checking the dates and making they are all in order ready for use.

6. Clean the inside windows.

Once a month we have a fabulous window cleaner come to clean our outside windows and does such a fabulous job that it puts my inside cleaning abilities to shame. I want to get my washing liquid out and a buffing towel and get cleaning and shining up my windows to match the dazzling ones outside.

7. Vacuum under the bed.

This used to not be an issue when i had no drawers under the bed, but now our bed has heavy fitted chunky drawers, jam packed with shoes, clothes and MORE seasonal goods, it's not very regular for me to vacuum under there. I'm sure there's going to be gathers of dust and lost treats my cat will be more than happy to find again (picks them up quick before my cat gets her chops on them, goodness knows how long they've been there! they have a coating of fluff n all)

8. Organise hallway cupboard and give a good clean.

What would be the cupboard under the stairs but in our case, just in the hallway. This place holds our everyday shoes, coats, spare coats, going out coats, light jackets, shoes we forgot we had, shoes that don't fit and a collection of stones that have come from our shoes. This place needs a good sort out i tell you. I need to declutter the shoes i don't wear and hopefully sell them or give to a good home and get the vacuum and duster all up in the corners to make it look spic and span.

9. Clean out letter drawer.

It's so full it has now overflowed into another drawer and down the back of the cupboards. It's in a right state. I'm going to grab some folders and spend an hour or maybe 5 sorting out and shredding unwanted/unneeded paper and letters. Why do i need 5 leaflets from farmfoods? Oh that's right, they have coupons that you always forget to take with you grrrrrrr.

10. Clean and vacuum airing cupboard.

This is wear my little cats supplies are kept. It has a massive space that really could do with some sort of DIY storage unit to make the most of. But first things first, i would like to organise the cupboard by sorting through toys my cat no longer plays with. Gather the empty treat packets that we just chucked in there out of the way incase someone got their paws on it and chewed it open to check there's not one last crumb left. We also keep our bath towels in there too. With the flannels being bunched up with them, i'm wanting to come up with a storage solution to separate the two, so when wanting to wash my face, i'm not yanking out a beach towel. A few cobwebs are lurking in the corner too, so vacuum ahoy! (saves spiders first)
